Classy, Country Engagements in Ponca City

Kelsi & Zach’s engagement shoot came after a straight week – more like a month – of rain. Despite a call for sunshine, neither of us were for sure Sunday would be the day. But, luckily Sunday morning we saw a beautiful sunrise & an even more beautiful sunset. <3

The couple chose the La Cann Gardens in Ponca City for a clean & classy look – gorgeous is more like it. Kelsi, is such a beauty & her outfit was flawless. Zach was also perfection. We started shooting & he said he brought a suit coat – UM YES ! – Nothing makes a man look more handsome & groomly (made that word up but it’s totally a thing lol) than a nice suit coat!

From Cann Gardens, the couple went classy, country (my fav) – for sunset pictures with a chic barn, open fields – horses & even had an audience of cows & one grumpy bull lol. It must be mentioned that Kelsi & I risked our lives in an encounter with the largest, creepiest spider I have EVER seen. No lie – it was black & yellow & I thought it was a Halloween decoy – I went to touch it – I KNOW – it moved & I squealed-shrieked- like a little girl haha That’s one way to become fast friends with your clients! lol I later assured them on their big day – no matter the creature- I would do no such thing 😉

Their wedding is set for March 30, 2018 at the Marland Mansion in Ponca City. I can not wait to share it with them <3
